I guess I’ve always taken the concept of holidays for granted. My worries have, in the past, centered around having enough free time, enough money, having family around, the right meals, and so on. But always, there was an expectation that the holiday itself held its own meaning, its own magic. Now I question what I’ve always taken for granted.
